Lake Park Villas – A Year Round Golfer’s Haven!
A year-round golfing haven for duffers to scratch golfers and all skill levels in between, the Johnston County area enjoys sunny weather throughout the year allowing for play all 12 months of the year. The 6‚600-yard lakeside course in Smithfield opened in 1936 and is home to PGA player and Johnston County native Neal Lancaster. Because the tract is a small‚ private course‚ members feel like it’s their personal course and members play at whenever pace they desire.

Course description: This Ellis Maples designed course features narrow fairways which are characteristic of other similar layouts designed by Maples in the past. Like the Pinehurst #2 course, the greens on the Country Club of Johnston County are large and undulating. Water hazards (lakes, ponds, and creeks) come into play on many holes.
